"My goal is to inspire young people with an understanding of the simple measures they can take to protect themselves and their communities against malaria.
By sparking their curiosity and creativity I hope that they find a gateway to scientific adventures and discovery"
- Dr. Susan Neuhaus
Hello!

I'm Susan.
My name is Dr Susan and I have written a children’s book that will unlock the curiosity of young readers to take their own scientific adventure to protect themselves from malaria.
I am a doctor and surgeon who has lived and worked in Australia, England, Cambodia, and Bougainville.
I have slept under mosquito nets, been bitten many times, and looked at thousands of them squirming under a microscope.
Understanding how to protect yourself against mosquitoes is critically important in malaria-infested communities, but it can also be fun and engaging.
Join me on a journey to empower the children to take their own practical steps to combat the ‘Malaria Menace.’
